What will you have achieved at the end of your apprenticeship?
By the end of my graduate apprenticeship, I'll have four years of work experience, a good grounding in engineering theory, and I'll be able to apply for higher level jobs.
What do you love about being a graduate apprentice engineer?
I love seeing what people can create when they pull together on a construction site. It's rewarding knowing that I've left my mark on a project which will impact other people’s lives.
What hours do you work?
My apprenticeship is full-time, but on Fridays I do coursework at home or in the library. It’s the one day of the week I don’t have to wake up at 6am – not your average student.
How much could you earn?
Graduate apprentices earn £17,000 - £22,000 a year. My salary could rise by £10,000 a year when I graduate.
